PSA: Women in STEM

In the PSA I've created, I've very briefly illustrated that girls can and should be able to do whatever they want in whatever industry they want. There's a seat for you at the table, ladies, and that's at any table.

According to #girlscanbe, only 13% of girls view Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields as a first option. As marketers and future leaders of tomorrow, we are inclined to ask, "Why?" The way that these careers are portrayed in the media is that they are mainly occupied by males, which is the truth. But by showing girls that someone who looks just like them, fictional or not, can succeed in these careers, we are telling girls they have the power to become anyone they want. Through breaking glass ceilings and closing the digital divide in gender, girls are can be empowered to create a better future for everyone.
